This week featuring: Viognier
The very first white wine to ever take my breath away was made from the viognier grape varietal. The roots of Viognier are the most firmly established in the Northern Rhone Valley in an appellation named Condrieu. As one would expect, this bottling of Condrieu from Domaine Faury is stunning. It reminds me of a perfect spring day, when catching that first whiff of the flowers in bloom and becoming completely mesmerized by the beauty of it all. On this Valentine’s Day, we will pour Domaine Faury Condrieu for $15 a glass.
