Every Wednesday, I will pull some of my favorite wines from our cellar at Marsh House to pour by the glass. The Loire Valley is slowly becoming an equal opportunity winemaking region with white, red and rosé all getting plenty of play in restaurants and retail shops around the country. Jean Francois Mérieau has shown brightly on our list for well over a year with their thirst quenching Chenin Blanc and now they are making another splash.  La Rosée is a floral and elegant rosé made from a lesser known varietal call Pineau D’aunis. At $10 a glass, come take the time to get educated on yet another shade of pink from the banks of the Loire River.
