Conversations by the Glass

Every Wednesday, I will pull some of my favorite wines from our cellar at Marsh House to pour by the glass. I am excited to share with you wines that aren’t often available to taste, and to have conversations that lead to... well, opening more bottles! During the month of June we will be honoring the unstoppable movement of drinking pink. That’s right, we will be crushing the coolest rosés made by the very best winemakers from around the globe, all while sitting in the shade curbside on our gorgeous patio. White Pants not included...

Featuring: Jean Francois Mérieau La Rosée Pineau d’aunis, Val de Loire 2016
The Loire Valley is slowly becoming an equal opportunity winemaking region with white, red and rosé all getting plenty of play in restaurants and retail shops around the country. Jean Francois Mérieau has shown brightly on our list for well over a year with their thirst quenching Chenin Blanc and now they are making another splash.  La Rosée is a floral and elegant rosé made from a lesser known varietal call Pineau D’aunis. At $10 a glass, come take the time to get educated on yet another shade of pink from the banks of the Loire River.
