Conversations by the Glass

Every Wednesday, I will pull some of my favorite wines from our cellar at Marsh House to pour by the glass. I am excited to share with you wines that aren’t often available to taste, and to have conversations that lead to... well, opening more bottles! During the month of June we will be honoring the unstoppable movement of drinking pink. That’s right, we will be crushing the coolest rosés made by the very best winemakers from around the globe, all while sitting in the shade curbside on our gorgeous patio. White Pants not included...

Featuring: Shelter Winery Rosé de Noir, Baden 2016
If someone mentions Pinot Noir, I think Burgundy or Sonoma Coast. If someone screams about German wines, I get giddy about Riesling. But it all changes when you put Pinot from Germany in a bottle and dial in the pink. The texture is plush but the acidity is rampant. I would have a hard time finding a dish that wouldn’t be honored to share a table with a glass of the Shelter Winery Rosé de Noir. $10 a glass is the perfect price to entice you to try a few glasses with a few dishes and make camp at our lobby bar.
